Kind of weirdly appropriate that the
Signature Spider Man shirt that was plagiarized by Mike Miller featured Spider-Man fighting a villain called The Looter, who had at the time stolen a bunch of signature tech from other criminals. It’s different. A shirt is a physical property. Publishing the page is using someone else’s intellectual property and misusing Ringo’s name. Wieringo drew a Spider-man cover, not a cover for Millar’s comic. Putting Ringo’s signature on the cover is fraudulent.
